Norway, thanks to the Gulf Stream, is not as chilly as you might think, the 'Land of the Midnight Sun' has warm summer days. The landscape is dramatic where the mountains sweep down into the crystal fjords.

You’ll know about the Viking Norsemen who frightened and pillaged established European society a thousand years or so ago but you’ll be pleased to hear that today’s Norwegians are friendly down-to-earth people. So, if you are in search of stunning landscapes, crisp clean air and kindly Nature, look no further than Norway.

Skiing is the main winter activity for Norwegians so don’t expect to play golf in Norway between November and March, but you will find many of Norway’s 100,000 or so affiliated golfers out on the country’s 150+ golf courses during the spring and summer months. Unless your golfing trip is during mid-summer, play it safe and ring ahead to make sure the snow has thawed.
