Bermuda
No really. Bermuda is not in the Caribbean it's in the North Atlantic. In fact, Bermuda’s nearest neighbour is the "Graveyard of the Atlantic", better known as Cape Hatteras some 650 miles away in the State of North Carolina.

The North Atlantic islands of Bermuda (and indeed Bahamas) are not Caribbean islands, but we've placed Bermuda within our Caribbean region because the country seems to sit more comfortably here than anywhere else.
Shaped like a fishhook, Bermuda is only a couple of miles wide and about 20 miles long but it is in fact approximately 180 little islands, linked by bridges, and divided into nine picturesque parishes. Did you know that the town of St George, a World Heritage site, is the oldest English speaking colonial town still in existence? Bermuda also has amazing soft pink sand beaches. So kick off your shoes and don your Bermuda shorts, you are about to enjoy a little piece of Britain in the semi-tropical mid-Atlantic.
Naturally with so much British tradition, it will come as no surprise to hear that this tiny island is big on golf. According to the Bermuda Golf Association, there are nine courses to choose from. We know that there are fine quality courses too, just waiting to be discovered and it's fitting that Bermuda's very best is called The Mid Ocean Club.
Our Caribbean and Atlantic Islands rankings were last updated in February 2017. Click the link to read the story.
