Everyone knows about the Alpine winter skiing, but few know that during the summer months Austria adopts the motto "from the hills to the spas" and becomes a huge summer playground of fun…well that’s what the Austrian National Tourist Office have to say!
Naturally we are much more interested in the golf and during the warm summer months there’s plenty of courses to choose from. In fact there are now approximately 160 affiliated courses and Austria has around 100,000 registered golf club members. With the Alps as a backcloth and lungs full of crisp clean air, there is much to commend Austrian golf and if you’ve not yet tried it we thoroughly recommend a visit.
