Puerto Rico
Puerto Rico is one of the largest Caribbean islands measuring some 100 miles long by 40 miles wide. It’s also one of the Caribbean’s most unusual islands, where the American way of life blends with a Spanish, African and Indian culture and heritage. It no wonder that Puerto Rico is also known as the “island of enchantment”. Close to 4 million Puerto Ricans live on this vibrant, multicultural island, so expect things a little livelier here than on some of the other more “chilled-out” Caribbean locations.

With around thirty golf courses to choose from and a few under development, Puerto Rico quite rightly deserves the moniker “the golf capital of the Caribbean”. The vast majority of Puerto Rico’s courses are constructed to USGA standards and a number of top architects have left their signature on the land, including Greg Norman, Robert Trent Jones, Tom Fazio and Jack Nicklaus. If you are searching for an action packed Caribbean golfing holiday with plenty of variety, look no further than La Isla del Encanto.
