Denmark might well spark your imagination into visions of Vikings, their long boats and unruly behaviour but this is certainly not the Denmark of today. It may surprise you to know that modern Denmark, although the smallest Scandinavian country, is also one of the most diverse, combining modern architecture with ancient castles, thriving cities and stunning coastlines, as well as some serious history and culture, civilization and Legoland! What more do you need? There really is a little something here for everyone.

With Thomas Bjørn as a Danish (and European) household name, and with 190 Danish golf courses to choose from, it’s little wonder that golf in this southernmost Scandinavian country is so popular. 165,000 or so affiliated Danish golf club members can’t be wrong and we have no doubt that this royal and ancient game is here to stay. After all, golf has been played here since Københavns Golf Klub was founded in 1898, making it the oldest Nordic club in existence.
