So, should you pack your golf clubs when you visit the Republic of Maldives? Well, believe it or not, golf first arrived at Lhaviyani Atoll in the shape of Kuredu Golf Club. This par three course has six holes, each averaging 55 yards in length, so you’ll merely need to pack your sand iron and putter! More recently, the Shangri-La Hotel on Villingili Island built a 9-hole course with holes averaging 130 yards. Pack a couple of short irons too.
