British Virgin Islands
Christopher Columbus was credited with the discovery of the fifty or so British Virgin Islands, but the Amerindians first discovered the Virgin Islands long before Columbus. “Parts of the British Virgin Islands are so beautiful, you'd happily marry the closest iguana just so you could stay there forever.” Only the Lonely Planet could possibly describe the BVI in such glowing terms and for that we take off our hat.

But there is no golf to be played on the British Virgin Islands but never fear... the Caribbean island-hopper system makes travelling between the BVI and the US Virgin Islands a practical reality for a day on the golf course. To play the best of the Virgin Islands, head to the island of St Thomas and the fabulous George and Tom Fazio designed Mahogany Run layout, home of the “Devil’s Triangle”. If you can negotiate the 13th, 14th and 15th without a penalty stroke, you’ll receive a “Certificate of Successful Completion” in the Pro Shop after your round. Now that’s a challenge!
