Marshall Islands
The Marshall Islands is an island nation situated in the northern Pacific Ocean, to the north of Kiribati and Nauru, where a population of around 70,000 people are spread out around more than thirty precariously low-lying coral atolls. After World War II, the Kwajalein Atoll became a strategically important site for the testing of nuclear weapons by the United States and it’s still used today as a military base and missile test range.

Both 9-hole courses on the Kwajalein Atoll were constructed by the US military. The layout on the Roi-Namur Island is used by personnel working on the Ronald Reagan Ballistic Missile Defense Test Site whilst the Holmbeg Fairways course on Kwajalein Island is a recreational facility for American servicemen and women who are involved in other missile operations.
