The landscape of landlocked Chad comprises mainly of semi-desert and despite being Africa’s fifth-largest country, it struggles with poverty and internal conflict between the Muslims in the north and the Christians in the south. Rich in minerals, including gold, Chad’s people may soon reap financial reward from its oil production.

Naturally golf is not a common pursuit among the people of Chad and we are unaware of any grassed course in the country. There is apparently one 9-hole golf course in N'Djamena, Chad’s capital city. We think it’s a sand based layout but we don’t know for sure. If you can throw any light on golf in Chad, we’d love to hear from you.
