The 18-hole Les Vallons and La Rivière layouts at Golf de la Vaucouleurs are contrasting late 1980s productions from Michel Gayon, with the latter set in woodland next to the Vaucouleurs river.

Extending to 6,138 metres from the back markers, La Rivière plays to a par of 73 (37 out then 36 in) with water coming into play at several holes on the inward half. On the back nine, there are back-to-back par fives at #13 and #14 then back-to-back par threes at #16 and #17.

Highlights here include the right doglegging par five 5th, followed by the left doglegging par four 6th. The par four 15th is the toughest hole on the back nine, with the tee shot on the 18th played over a couple of irrigation ponds before an approach shot is played to the home green.

In recent years, Stuart Hallett has added a pitch & putt layout and a 9-hole short course.
