Established in 1931, the course at Golf du Domaine de Divonne was originally set out by Igor Nakowski. When a new owner took control of the property in 1963, Donald Harradine was brought in to redesign the layout.
The following edited extract is from the Peugeot Golf Guide:
“With six par 4s, six par 5s and six par 3s, Divonne is an original course, but starting and finishing with par 3s is hardly a strong point. Overlooking Lake Geneva, Divonne is a mid-mountain course which is not too tiring.
Divonne might be a little too tough for beginners (and) it is certainly quite some challenge for the longer hitters, who have countless opportunities to take risks. This is definitely a great stop-off over the summer months.”
