Formed in 1954, Club Salvadoreño developed over the next half century into one of San Salvador’s leading social institutions, offering members a variety of sporting activities (including tennis, golf and a range of different water sports) at its Corinto campus.

Designed by Fred W. Hawtree, the course is a lush parkland track that spreads out over a fairly flat landscape with tree-lined fairways set out close to the sparkling waters of Lake Llopango.

Visiting golfers should note that the use of caddies is mandatory when playing this course but a sizeable creek runs through the property and, as some of the holes have been routed across this natural hazard, it’s actually a very good idea to have some local knowledge on hand when playing here.
