Golf at Pequabuck dates back to 1902 but who originally designed Pequabuck Golf Club’s first course is a mystery. What we do know is that Geoffrey Cornish and his partner Bill Robinson stopped by in the late ‘60s to build three new holes.

Today’s 18-hole layout is routed in two returning loops of nine holes. With only two par fives and a handful of short holes in play, Pequabuck is rated a par 69 course measuring a modest but fun 6,015 yards.

Feature holes include the right doglegging 2nd, rated stroke index 2, and the shortest of the three par threes on the front nine, the 169-yard 6th. The back nine begins with two terrific holes laid out next to the Bristol Reservoir – the par three 10th and par four 11th (stroke index 1) – and ends with a straightforward 342-yard par four to conclude the round close to the clubhouse.
