Formerly known as Bloomington Golf Club, Minnesota Valley Country Club sits adjacent to the great Minnesota River and the Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge. The club is the proud owner of a Seth Raynor course dating back to 1924 that features a scorecard full of holes with replica design features, such as the Redan 2nd, Eden 7th and Biarritz 11th.

Author Daniel Wexler commented as follows in The American Private Golf Club Guide: “The last of Seth Raynor’s three Minnesota designs, Minnesota Valley retains more of Raynor’s original layout than either of the others… The best replica is the 172-yard Redan 2nd, with the standard back-left fallaway toughened considerably by adjacent out-of-bounds.”

In 2018 Bill Bergin completed a sympathetic course restoration, which included bunker renovation, drainage works, fairway width restoration, and significant adjustments to the green complexes. Additionally, Raynor templates such as Short, Principal’s Nose and Prize Dogleg have been added or enhanced.
