Loch Lloyd

Although no holes at this Tom Watson design actually bring Lloyd into play, the obvious physical implications that come with damming up such a body of water means players will experience significant altitude change during the front nine, starting at the lake-level clubhouse before working its way down into the Mill Creek “valley” below.

This is an old-fashioned out and back course, traveling the full route before heading back to the clubhouse. The final return, however, climbing back up the clubhouse, with a green alongside an impressive waterfall feature to its immediate right, is a fine piece of punctuation on a fine day of golf.
