Las Brisas de Chicureo (Valle)

Las Brisas de Chicureo is located 30 kilometers to the north of the capital, Santiago, and it's the only 36-hole facility in Chile. The 18-hole Valle (Valley) course is considered to be the premier routing which Stuart Moore of Gage Davis Associates laid out in 1997.
Actually, the 9-hole Valle Poiente circuit opened in October of that year, with the Valle Oriente nine following twelve months later. In November 2011, the other 18-hole Montaña course was unveiled and the club also operates a small 9-hole practice course for children and beginners.
Members also have the use of tennis and squash courts, a bowling alley and wellness centre (with spa, sauna and pool) and an equestrian club was also introduced in 2006.
Holes are routed round substantial residential developments, with housing often lining both sides of the fairway. Large expanses of waste areas flank many of the holes and mature trees lining the perimeter help to lessen the intrusion from the outside world.
Water comes into play on several occasions, most notably at the final hole on each nine where lakes lie to the left of the 9th and to the right of the 18th.
