Fox Creek
Dieppe, New Brunswick- Address200 Golf St, Dieppe, NB E1A 8K9, Canada
Early in the new millennium, the LeBlanc family began acquiring land in Dieppe for an intended new golf facility. Five years later, their course at Fox Creek Golf Club opened for business, with a number of holes now routed around an ambitious residential development.
After exiting the clubhouse area, holes on the front nine are accessed via an underpass that runs under Dieppe Boulevard, leaving golfers in splendid isolation for the first half of their round. Highlights on this circuit include the 3rd, 4th and 5th, which are tightly routed around a few irrigation ponds, along with the longest of the three par threes at the 217-yard 8th hole.
On the back nine, there’s a hint of housing down the right side of holes 10, 15 and 18 but thick vegetation along the edge of the fairways negates any intrusion. Notable holes on this half include the 12th, 13th and 15th (where the greens for these three holes are positioned around another irrigation pond), together with the par four closing hole which requires a tee shot carry over water.
