Founded in 1897, Golf de Dieppe-Pourville is one of the oldest clubs in France and Willie Park Junior designed its original seaside course.

Laid out along the seashore, this is not exactly a links course, given the nature of the terrain, but conditions of play are often very similar. To emphasize this ‘seaside’ impression, four new holes have been laid out along the cliff-top and provide a breathtaking view.”

Willie Park Jr. was born in Musselburgh, the second of four sons of (Old) Willie Park, four-time Open Champion. Young Willie won the Open twice himself, becoming one of five Musselburgh men to do so.
