Concord, Massachusetts- Address246 Old Rd to 9 Acre Corner, Concord, MA 01742, USA
The small town of Concord, with a population just under 50,000, is the capital of New Hampshire and the county seat of Merrimack County. Sitting on a low terrace to west of the Merrimack River, it lies four miles from where the tree-lined fairways of Concord Country Club are laid out.
Established in 1930, the course at Concord Country Club measures 6,539 yards, playing to a par of 70. The par three 16th was redesigned in 2006 so its green is now protected by a pond to the front left of the putting surface.
Other holes of note include the uphill short par four 3rd, the right doglegged 8th (rated stroke index 1) and the 432-yard 13th, where two solid blows are required to have any chance of taming a hole that plays uphill all the way from tee to green.
