“All greens were rebuilt to USGA standards and enlarged to regain older pin locations that had been lost due to routine maintenance operations. All bunkers were renovated, strategically positioned and some original features were restored. New tees were added to accommodate different levels of skill. Ponds were enlarged to facilitate drainage, improve flood control, enhance wildlife habitat and add irrigation water storage.

Tree removal was key to improving solar exposure and a new tree program was initiated to augment the major vegetation by removing non indigenous varieties in favor of more long-lasting compatible trees. The short game area was remodeled and the range had new target greens raised for visibility.
