ArborLinks is a member of the Dormie Network, a national network of private destination golf clubs that also comprises Hidden Creek in Egg Harbor Township, Victoria National in Newburgh, Dormie Club in Pinehurst, Ballyhack in Roanoke and Briggs Rranch in San Antonio. It’s an evolving group of clubs offering full-service accommodation, premium amenities and an attractive “pure golf” concept.
Located thirty five miles south of Omaha, ArborLinks is an Arnold Palmer design that debuted at the start of the new millennium, laid out across what was formerly open, rolling Midwest farmland, with a forested ravine cutting through the northern end of the property.
In Daniel Wexler’s book The American Private Golf Club Guide the author describes the course as having something of a rustic feel but it “also relies on man-made lakes to juice up holes like the 429-yard Cape-like 5th, the 413-yard 7th and the 455-yard 9th. Far more natural are the 307-yard drive-and pitch 2nd (played across the gully) and the 414-yard 12th, a dogleg right around some rough native territory.”
