Andersons Creek
Kensington, Prince Edward Island- Address68 North Rd Route 240, Kensington, PE C0B 1M0, Canada
Designed by Graham Cooke and unveiled in 2003, the course at Andersons Creek Golf Club lies just off the north central coast of PEI in Stanley Bridge, with water hazards in play at half a dozen holes on the scorecard.
The layout measures up at 6,618 yards from the back tees, playing to a par of 72, with holes arranged as two returning circuits. The back nine is routed around the perimeter of the property, totally encasing the front nine, where five of the water-laden holes are located.
Highlight holes include both par threes on the outward half: the 179-yard 4th plays slightly downhill to a shallow green that sits behind a rather wide creek, while tee shots to the 130-yard 8th have to carry a reed-fringed pond that lies to the front right of a long, two-tiered green.
On the inward half, the 570-yard 14th on the western perimeter of the property is the last (and longest) of the par five holes on the card, attracting a stroke index of 1. The round ends four holes later with a slightly right doglegging par four that weaves past bunkers on either side of the fairway before reaching the home green.
